KOMAS AQUA PRESSA NEOPRENE GLUE
This is a two component solvent-based polychloroprenic adhesive suitable for general purpose bonding and especially used in the Leather and Fabrics industries.
APPLICATIONS: Spread on both surfaces a uniform layer of adhesive, previously mixed, with toothed spatula or brush. Wait about 5 / 20 minutes for the evaporation of the solvents (depending on the environmental conditions) and join portions exerting strong pressure on the entire surface (avoid the presence of air bubbles between the two parts). In the case of absorbent materials, proceed with a first coat of glue and, once it has dried, arrange for one second coating.
- Particularly used for the bonding of underwater wetsuits and more generally in the nautical sector. Recommended for the assembly of PVC and Polyurethane materials.
- Used for bonding Rubbers, TR (thermoplastic material), synthetic materials, thunit (elastomer), leather. Free from: Toluol. Rapid grip and easy to use.
- Heat re-activated for bonding of particularly difficult to bond materials. Not suitable for surfaces exposed to UV rays through glass or crystal surfaces. Also available in sprayable version.

Recommendations: Preparation of the substrate. The substrates must be cleaned well, dry and free from dust oil or grease that can affect the bonding quality. For clearing use isopropyl alcohol, MK SOL-NEO or MK SOLV.13 according to local regulations. Check solvent compatibility with the substrates to be bonded. If necessary, sandblast the metal surfaces.

Shelf life: 12 months in its original tightly closed packaging in a well ventilated area (+ 18°C).

Precautions for use: Mastikol® products are generally quite harmless to handle provided that certain precautions are normally taken when handling chemicals. Avoid contact between substances and foodstuffs or food tools, and take all necessary precautions to avoid contact with the skin. The wearing of impervious rubber or plastic gloves will normally be necessary; likewise the use of eye protection.
The skin should be thoroughly cleaned at the end of each working period by washing with soap and warm water. The use of solvents has to be avoided. Disposable paper should be used to dry the skin. Adequate ventilation of the working area is recommended. These precautions are described in greater detail in the safety data sheet for the individual products and should be referred to for further information.
